Ingredients

6 slices of Baker’s Inn bread

Margarine or butter

Tin of sardines in tomato sauce (Option: use in hot chilli sauce if you like spice)

Method

Spread the bread evenly with margarine or butter
Open the tin of sardines in sauce and empty into a small dish
Lightly pull apart with a fork and add salt and pepper to taste
Spread over bread & garnish with herbs or lettuce if desired
